Abstract


Ibn Kammuna is an Islamic Philosopher who lived in XIII. Century Although some historians claim the decline of Islamic philosophy after Ibn Rushd (Averoes) Ibn Kammuna’s himself and his works are indication of survival of Islamic Philosophy after Ibn Rushd. Ibn Kammuna wrote commentaries on Ibn Sina (Avicenna) and Suhrawardi’s Works. He also has many books in the fields of physıcs, chemistry, medicine, logic, ethics, and history of religion. There are different views on his religious identity. It is known that his ancestors are Jewish. Some claimed his connection with twelve - ımam Shiite. In fact he is the man of reconciliation among three revealed religions. He has familiar ideas about nafs with previous philosophers. When dealing with unseen, gayb, he sees knowledge about unseen possible. He seems to inclined to believe reincarnatıon under the influence of eastern religion
